You can even desaturate the textures in Marvelous Designer (using the fabric property editor), change their colors, tint them, change the specular settings, generate a normal map in MD or import one of the normal maps you get included in the free download.
Example of the same denim texture with different colors applied in Marvelous Designer:
To use these textures in Marvelous Designer, either drag and drop the desired fabric texture on a clothing item in your scene in MD, or import it from the Fabric Property Editor to apply it to a fabric in your project. If you don’t know how to texture clothes, watch my free Marvelous Designer texturing tutorial.

What is the difference between Marvelous Designer fabric textures, fabric patterns, and clothing patterns?
Fabric textures or fabric patterns are designs applied to fabrics in your scene.
Some people refer to textures as clothing patterns in the real world. However, in Marvelous Designer, a clothing pattern is different than a clothing texture.
A clothing pattern is the blueprint of the clothing model is made. If someone talks about a Marvelous Designer clothing fabric pattern they probably mean a fabric texture.
